IXD304 Assignment

Bringhurst quote: “Typography exists to honour content.”

How to choose a typeface?

Picking a font needs us to think about a few things like how easy it is to read, who will be reading it, why we are writing and where it will be seen. A font that's easy to read is very important, especially for long texts. Simple and clear fonts are usually the best. What readers like and expect also matters.

Web friendly content

Web friendly content keeps online readers interested. It's clear and short, easy to read at a glance, with bullet points, headers, and small paragraphs. Pictures and videos often go along with the text to help explain. It also uses keywords to show up in search engines and can be viewed nicely on all devices like mobiles, tablets, and desktops.

The history of typography
