We have been tasked to create our very own mood board to begin our Apollo Project. This will give our projects a individuality. Using images I found in person and online I will have a clear understanding of how I want to style my Apollo 11 prototype/ebook.
To begin this project I took myself to Ulster University library to find in hand research or inspiration on Apollo. My goal was to get physical materiel to enlighten my my mind. I photocopied certain pages in the book that caught my attention.

It has extensive photos of the moon landing and used colours and textures as a form of expression. It has a retro vintage appearance. Looking at these photos makes me feel curious and amazed. This makes me want to gravitate towards a dark mysterious design for my website.

Colour Palette
Using a colour picker I focused in on the pops of colours throughout the photos. Although I like the overly appearance I will explore other options throughout this blog before picking my final choice.
Over the years I have gathered my own images of the moon. This has became quite fundamental for this project. The photos below are similar to the ones above, focusing on the darkness of the night sky with the beaming bright light the moon creates. This gives it a mysterious, unexplored feeling.
After carefully looking through this colour palette book I bought in Japan I considered what colour would suit the overall space theme. From pastels to retro, vintage tones I began to analyse my findings and create moodboards.
