Design sprints in UX are like teamwork sessions where teams meet for about a week to handle specific design problems. They quickly think up ideas, make models, and test them with users. It's a step by step process that includes solving problems, coming up with ideas, making models, and getting responses. By squeezing the design process into a short period, teams can work together better and quickly move towards making solutions that are easy for users to use.
In our chosen groups, we were tasked to create a design sprint for the duration of the class. The task at hand was how can we better A&E?
Design audit
Here is the rundown of the stages we had to follow:
To begin we began brainstorming as a group how we can help benefit the A&E department. We also began to look at what type of system this digital process could be used on.
As a group we decided that a kiosk system would be the best option after looking into other devices. We then went ahead and created a journey map and overall ideation for a scheduling system.
Userflow
We then made a user flow for a minor injury, have a smooth process from start middle to end. We made it for minor injuries as if you had a serious injury you would not be standing at a kiosk booking into a slot.
