During critique I showed my finalised prototype of my Apollo 11 design. After considering each piece of advice I decided to change a view things in my overall design to see if it would be better with the classmates suggestions.
Some of the points Kyle suggest was to make the Polaroid photos click out without having to use the X buttons. The X button was also not aligned properly.
I removed the exit 'X' and made it so that you can click anywhere on the screen to exit the photo.
As for the put in next/previous buttons I have them at the bottom of my screen as small sticky notes. I feel adding in arrows would make the whole design overwhelming and its a unneeded button.
Reflecting on the critique, the feedback was mostly positive, so I didn't need to make drastic changes to my design. The modifications I made demonstrate design thinking, with a focus on ease of use. By being open to feedback and ready to improve my design, I can make necessary tweaks while also considering others' thoughts. I enjoyed today's class overall, and I'm glad I made these minor adjustments as they have improved my prototype.
