For todays class we where assigned to show what work we have done so far for our digital medical product prototype. I was out of class but I attended virtually. Overall I got good feedback from my classmates but I needed to change a few small things.

Alignment Issues

During the critique, it was noted that the spacing between the “K” and “I” was inconsistent. I had previously attempted to correct this issue, as Paul had mentioned, but I was unable to get a perfect match.

I revisited my logo design and chose to elongate the pill shape to align correctly with the “K” and “N”. With a more uniform appearance, I believe the logo is now significantly more effective.

Adding Colour

As for the use of colours to create a contrast I decided to add in this pop of red to my notifications. I feel this makes the overall design more interesting.

Reflection

Feedback and changes showed me the need for constant improvement and the value of outside views in designing. These tweaks made the product look better and work better, making it easier and more natural for users. This taught me the need to keep changing and improving designs based on what users say, to make a product that's more refined and easy to use. I will now continue to finish my digital medical app.
