Making changes

During the critique, I received mostly positive feedback. However, Hal suggested that I could improve the layout by creating a page filled with small memorabilia and doodles to enhance the scrapbook appearance. This allowed me more space to include certain pieces I had collected during my research that didn't quite fit onto a single page.

Regarding the class advice, I experimented with various Futura styles to determine which looked the best. As a person with dyslexia, I find the italic font the easiest to read, even though all the fonts were set as regular they all appear much different. The middle font was the most difficult to read. Therefore I will leave this area as I have demonstrated that it is more effective with the italic.

Reflection

Overall, I was quite pleased with the feedback I received and it was clear that my hard work on this project was acknowledged. Despite a few minor changes, I believe the Ebook turned out well. This critique taught me the importance of considering my classmates advice, while also evaluating if it suits my overall design. It's important to take criticism into account, but it isn't always correct. I feel this was the case with the type choice.
