In today class we looked into the art of content strategy and the creation of user personas. Our goal as UX designers is to guarantee that specific content is available to users when they require it.

Content Strategy

Content strategy is about planning and managing content strategically to achieve specific goals. It goes beyond individual pieces and focuses on the overall vision, considering the target audience and the best channels for effective communication. This approach ensures the right message reaches the right audience at the right time, playing a crucial role in building a cohesive and effective online presence for businesses or individuals.

Usability.gov

Usability.gov is a U.S. government resource offering guidelines and tools for creating user-friendly digital experiences. It covers various aspects of UX design, provides templates, case studies, and emphasises accessibility. Designers and developers can access practical insights to enhance usability and stay informed about the latest industry trends. I can see it is no longer available and seems to be achieved but it is still useful to read.

User Personas

A User Persona is a detailed, fictional representation of a target audience member. It includes demographic information, behaviours, and preferences. The persona helps teams understand and empathise with users, guiding decisions in design and content creation to meet their specific needs. Essentially, it's a concise tool that humanises the user, making it easier to create products and experiences tailored to their expectations and behaviours.
