For this part of the project we have to create a portfolio which will be used to secure placement. Here are a few touch points which I’ll focus on:

• Showcase Expertise: Create case studies, keep them short and straight forward, employers to keep them interested.
• User Centred Design Excellence: Apply everything that I have learnt over the process of the course, making sure the experience is smooth and easy for visitors to explore.
• Responsive Design: Make sure the portfolio is responsive and works on every device such as desktop, tablet and smartphone.
• Interactive Engagement: Integrate interactive elements to captivate visitors, providing a tangible demonstration of your proficiency in user interactions.
• Insightful Design Process Showcase: Show design process and research. Show the ideation and journey you took to get to the polished design.

Initial Research

I began to look through the colour and layout of design portfolios on Pinterest. This started to give me an idea of what aesthetic I would use. I really love the gradient effect and I feel it makes the portfolios appear friendly and understandable. I would like to add a pop of colour if possible to certain text that I want to emphasis.

Creating low-fidelity wireframes

Using the crazy 8 method I began to create basic wireframes for my portfolio. This gave me a rough idea on what layout I would like to choose for my digital portfolio.

Creating Content

I had to take into consideration what content I would like to add into my portfolio as cast studies. I will be using notes from my notion blog on each project therefore I won’t have to waste anymore time on writing content.
