Next, I created a practice version of my presentation to figure out how I wanted it to look. I kept it simple because my goal was just to visualise how it would appear before making the final version. This step helped me experiment with the visual aspects, layout, and overall flow of the presentation. It helped me refine my ideas and set the groundwork for the actual design work that would come later.
Afterward, I started brainstorming ideas for the branding of the digital app, even though it wasn't a formal requirement for the project. However, I believed it would add vibrancy and life to my pitch. While exploring various concepts, I settled on a simple and minimalistic design that aligns well with the overall pitch concept for Wildcare. The chosen design puts a spotlight on the wildlife rescue aspect, creating a play on words that emphasises the app's purpose. Excited about the direction, I am eager to progress further and bring this brand to life using Figma.
The colour green has a strong connection to wildlife because it symbolises the lush environments, biodiversity, and ecosystems where animals live and thrive. This colour is like a symbol for the health and richness of the natural world. Its association with camouflage, where animals blend into their surroundings which adds to its significance. Additionally, green is culturally linked to growth and vitality, making it a powerful symbol for the natural world. This colour is often used to depict wildlife in visual media and represent efforts to conserve and protect the environment.
Below is the finished brand design, created using Figma. I chose Montserrat in a semi-bold style for the text, aiming for a readable and visually appealing appearance. To give the brand a unique touch I used the pen tool to create a paw symbol. This symbol, along with the chosen font, reflects the essence of WildCare linking it to wildlife.
I created the digital design on figma. This wasn’t part of the brief but I felt it made my pitch idea come to life. By just showing a few screens I will be able to discuss the functioning of my product and how it will work.
