Project Title: Immersive Storytelling Through Physical Digital Interaction

Project Summary

This project is about combining physical craft with digital storytelling. The idea is to create a fun experience where users can interact with a handcrafted object, like a memory box filled with NFC or RFID-tagged items, or use AR scanning (I haven’t researched what would be best yet.) When you place these items in the memory box, it unlocks different chapters of a nonlinear story on a connected screen. The goal is to change storytelling from something you just watch into an engaging, hands on interaction.

Problem Statement

Digital storytelling tends to be passive and all about the visuals. People just watch stories on flat screens without actually getting involved, which limits how deeply they can feel the experience. There aren't many simple options that blend the emotional impact of physical items with the flexibility of digital content.
