Today we had our first critique of the semester. We were asked to show our completed work on Figma preview and a style tile showing our Smartwatch designs.
During critique I got posItive feedback about the artsy style of the app and how it feels user friendly. The use of the character makes the app feel less dull. Making a UV app was difficult in this regard as it can come across as a boring subject which is why I created it with this specific typeface and style.
Style Tile
I created a style tile and a brand name for my app to make it feel real and professional. Therefore when my class see my UI during critique they will see the image I had in mind.
Class Feedback
One thing that my classmates give me feedback was this screen. On closer exception it can be quite hard to read as their is a lot of information.
Below I decided to change the screen. I can see a huge different with such a small change and I will take the feedback as a positive change to my app.
