For the last deliverable we have to design a webpage using HTML and CSS or a website builder called Framer which was introduced to us by Paul.

Research

firstly I began to research about the imagery of Street Of Crocodiles so I could get a good idea about the style I would be working with. I have never heard of Street Of Crocodiles before so this was good research material, I was genuinely shocked at the imagery and expected something less eerie.

A short blurb about Street Of Crocodiles:

Untitled

Untitled

Inside a box full of curio, a puppet who is recently freed from his strings explores a dusty and forlorn commercial area. The explorer becomes ensnared into miniature tailor shop by baby-faced dolls.

Images

I chose the imagery based on these titles:

THE MARKET SQUARE

STRYJSKA STREET

After choosing my images in unsplash I went into Photoshop and edited the dolls to make them black and white so it would fit the eerie style I’m going for for my web design. I wanted the dolls to look almost ghost like so their eyes would look darker.

I went to ‘Image’ and then ‘Adjustments’ I played with the contrast and brightness to create the perfect shades of black and white.

Colour

I wanted the colour tones of my website to be mostly black, white and grey shades with a strong accent colour. I experimented with many colours and chose which one I felt complimented my imagery the most which was this shade of pink.
