In todays class we finished up the semester with our SDG critiques.

Critique

During critique most of my feedback was positive. The only thing someone from my class mentioned was the contrast between the blue and button could be better. This is due to the class projector screen as it makes the colours change therefore I won’t be changing this in my design.

As for Kyles feedback he suggest I take away the arrows and also the buttons as it seemed repetitive. Replacing the buttons with a question to challenge the children instead of the same click here button on each screen.

I agree that removing the arrows makes the story feel like a guessing game rather than a instructed story. It lets the users interact with the screen more and keeps them inquisitive.

Changing the button to a question instead of a direction makes it feel friendlier. I feel the feedback I took on board helped make my SDG app more fun and engaging therefore I will be changing this in my design.

Reflection

I took on board the critique feedback and applied it to my design. Overall I am pleased with the outcome and I feel it is one of my stronger pieces of work as I delved into SDG research heavily so I could get a grasp on what I was working on.
