A user flow was important for my project because it helped me understand how a user would move through Memori from start to finish. Instead of just designing screens separately, I could see the full journey and work out what steps needed to happen before the user could add and save a memory.

I first created a user flow based on my survey research. This helped me understand how users might discover the app, evaluate it, set it up and decide whether they would keep using it. It also showed me where users could become confused or lose interest, especially if the setup felt too complicated.

I then created a more detailed user flow for the scan and onboarding process. This helped me map out the main actions, such as choosing personal or family use, selecting a focus, connecting a box, adding the first memory, scanning an item, choosing media and saving the memory.

Creating these user flows helped me make the app structure clearer before moving into wireframes. It made it easier to spot missing steps, improve the user journey and make sure Memori felt simple and easy to follow.
