In this weeks class we were given the assignment to create a presentation in groups.

At first this was my worst nightmare as I am a quite person and people find it hard to understand me so this assignment really took me out of my comfort zone.
Kyle put us randomly in groups this was the group of class mates I was put with:

To begin talking about what subject we were going to choose we stayed after class to discuss in detail what roles we would have throughout the presentation. We then immediately made a WhatsApp group called Pixels so we could easily get in touch with each other. We then discussed each topic and overall decided the Modernism Movement in America would be the topic we would present.
We got a book from the university library called American Modernism Graphic Design 1920 to 1960. This book was the main source of research for me as it had a overwhelming amounts of information. I decided I wanted to focus on American Modernism editorial design as its something that fascinates me and I generally love photography and design.
Overall I was very anxious about this presentation as I’ve had bad experiences in the past with speaking. I hope that the presentation goes smoothly and that I don’t mix my words up or stutter too much.
