Preparing for the pitch

One of the main reminders from class was that our ****pitch only needs to be short and focused. We have five minutes so the point is not to explain absolutely everything but to communicate the project in a way that feels clear, confident and easy to follow.

The presentation will be in 16:9 format and also bring a PDF version as backup. In terms of branding, it does not need to be fully resolved yet, but it is important to have at least a direction in mind so the project already feels considered.

Building a stronger pitch

Begin with an introduction, then quickly draw attention to the opportunity or issue, explain how the design responds to it, and finish by showing why it matters. That last part is especially important, because it is where the value of the project becomes clear.
